Celebrate Earth Day by bringing in a gently used paperback book. Books will be donated to the Friends of the Houston Public Library to help benefit their community programs.

The Alley Theatre continues its efforts to make the theatre affordable to patrons. Partnering with other social non-profit organizations, the Alley seeks to generate in-kind donations and reward patrons with $10 Tix for the matinee performance. The $10 Tix are available in person, the day of the performance only and are limited to two tickets per person. Purchase in person at the box office (615 Texas Ave.) on the day of the performance only. Cash or check only. Limited availability. Doors open at noon.
The $10 Tix partner for Harvey is Homeless & Orphaned Pets Endeavor (H.O.P.E.). The date is Saturday, April 17, beginning at noon. The donated item is new pet toys and treats for cats and dogs.
HOPE is an animal welfare organization that works to reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs in our community. We place animals through adoption, spay and neuter feral cats living in managed colonies, educate the public, and collaborate with other animal welfare groups. .

Located in the Plaza Studio at the Alley Theatre, this group is for the bookworm in every theatre buff. Alley Theatre is partnering with the Houston Public Library and Brazos Bookstore for this new pre-curtain event. This event combines the imagination of the written word with the excitement of live theatre. Participants will enjoy a pre-curtain discussion group led by special guests from the Houston area, then attend the performance. For Harvey, the selected piece is Being There by Jerzy Kosinski. Refreshments will be served. It is suggested (but not required) to read the selected pieces prior to attending. After the performance, readers can stay for an additional TalkBack led by Alley cast members and artistic staff.
