The  Alley Theatre continues its efforts to make the theatre affordable to patrons. Partnering with other social non-profit organizations, the Alley seeks to generate in-kind donations and reward patrons with $10 Tix for select performances. The $10 Tix are available in person starting Wednesday, April 25 and are limited to two tickets per person. With your donation, you can purchase two $10 tickets for Wednesday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m or Sunday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. Donate and purchase in person at the box office (615 Texas Ave.) starting at noon on Wednesday, April 25. Limited availability.

The $10 Tix partner for The Seafarer is The Beacon. The date to donate and purchase starts on Wednesday, April 25, beginning at noon. The donated item is new, unused disposable razors.

The Beacon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing social and health services to poor and homeless men, women, children, and youth living in the Houston area. The mission of The Beacon is to provide services that restore dignity, self respect, and hope to Houston's poor and homeless. During 2010, The Beacon served a total of 10,153 unduplicated individuals and had over 131,000 total client visits. In 2010 The Beacon provided 110,506 meals, 19,712 showers, and did 22,898 loads of laundry.During 2011, The Beacon estimated serving approximately 11,500 unduplicated individuals.
