Alley Theatre Young Performers Studio (YPS) engages students entering grades 2-12 in a dynamic introduction to theatre arts while fostering their individual creativity and building skills that reach beyond the stage. In classes led by Alley-trained teaching artists, Alley Theatre Young Performers are a part of a creative drama learning experience in which they gain confidence and poise in expressing themselves, work as part of an ensemble, interact with Alley artisans and actors as well as YPS Artists, and create theatre that speaks with the power of their own unique voices.

(The Alley subscriber tuition rate may be used for immediate family members only.)
Limited scholarships are available. The Alley Theatre does not issue refunds.
Supplemental instruction is available from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for an additional fee of $200 for the 3 week session.
Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not complete until payment has been received. Registration closes May 9 for Session 1 and June 6 for Session 2. Space is limited to 12 students per group and classes fill quickly. If you are interested in a class that is already full and wish to be added to a waiting list, contact the Young Performers Studio. Orientation for both Summer Sessions: June 7 from 11:00AM – 12:30PM.
Parents and students will meet at the Alley Theatre Neuhaus Stage for a pre-studio orientation and a backstage tour of our classroom spaces and theatres. Young Performers Studio t-shirts and schedules of activities will be provided at orientation.
