Alley Theatre’s 17th Annual Deck The Trees showcased a magical festive holiday tree display at both Alley Theatre and the George R. Brown Convention Center from November 17 through December 31.
This holiday tradition drew an impressive 250,000 visitors and celebrated Houston’s diversity through whimsical, cultural, traditional, and eclectic tree designs. The tree display complemented the Alley’s annual holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, on Alley Theatre’s stage. Deck the Trees featured 33 trees sponsored by community and business leaders. Each tree was personally decorated by a well-known designer who brought to life the magic of the holidays! Highlights included the two 18-feet trees, respectively themed “Old Fashioned Memory Tree,” designed by JBIA, LLC, and “Winter White,” decorated by Macy’s. They were both sponsored by a long-time Alley supporter, Valerie Jalufka.
