DAVID MATRANGA is thrilled to be returning to the Alley Theatre. Houston audiences last saw him in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance at Stages Repertory Theatre. Players); A Coffin In Egypt (Houston Grand Opera & Tour); Macbeth, Merchant of Venice, and Comedy Of Errors/Hamlet (Houston Shakespeare Festival); You Can’t Take it With You, The Hollow, A Christmas Carol (Alley Theatre); Showboat (Houston Grand Opera); Miss Julie and Uncle Vanya (Classical Theatre Company); Straight White Men, Marie Antoinette, Failure: A Love Story, Dollhouse (Stages); in the next room or the vibrator play; Mistakes Were Made; Yankee Tavern; Auntie Mame; Complete History of America Abridged; Man from Nebraska; Grey Gardens (Joe Kennedy Jr./Jerry); and Lobster Alice; all at Stages Repertory Theatre. Other Regional theatre credits include: World premieres of 110 Flights and General Desdemona at the 1st Annual Proctors New Play Festival, Pride and Prejudice (Dallas Theater Center), The King Stag (Yale Rep), and A Christmas Carol (Actors Theatre of Louisville). Film and TV: “Dropa,” “The Rejects,” “Law & Order,” “All My Children,” “As The World Turns,” “Urban Shakedown,” and the soon to be released feature film “Occupy Texas.” David has also voiced many animated characters including Attack On Titan, My Hero Academia, Appleseed, Appleseed Ex Machina, Appleseed Alpha, Halo legends, Sony’s Starship Troopers: Invasion and Captain Harlock.
