John Tyson

JOHN TYSON has appeared in a wide variety of roles in 14 seasons at the Alley Theatre. Credits include Hugo Birch in Agatha Christie's Spider's Web, Eddie Brock in Born Yesterday, Richard Harkin in The Seafarer, Alfred Doolittle in Pygmalion, The Storyteller in Peter Pan, Professor Metz/ Banjo in The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Librarian in Underneath the Lintel, Dr. Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace, and Tupolski in The Pillowman. Other performances include Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, Boris Kolenkhov in You Can’t Take It With You, AEH in The Invention of Love, both Dromios in The Comedy of Errors and Henry Carr in Travesties. At the Alley he directed The Woman in Black and his own play, Act Of Passion. He recently directed The Good Thief and Faith Healer at Stark Naked Theatre, Miracle Worker at A.D. Players, and Three Sisters at University Of Houston.
