Julia Gibson

JULIA GIBSON has performed on Broadway and major theatres in New York City and throughout the country.  Including the Roundabout, New York Theatre Workshop, The Public, The Delacorte, Classic Stage Company, Circle in the Square, So-Ho Rep., The Long Wharf, The Goodman, George Street Playhouse, American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and The Dallas Theatre Center.  Some favorites have included: Angels in America; Playboy of the Western World; The Seagull; Uncle Vanya; All’s Well That Ends Well; A View of the Dome; Dancing at Lughnasa; Love’s Labour’s Lost; A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Measure for Measure; Arabian Nights; Candide; Dracula; The Little Foxes; Talley’s Folly; The Real Thing; The Importance of Being Earnest; The Learned Ladies; Vanya, Sonya, Masha and Spike; Into the Woods; and The Cake.  TV/Film work includes:  Michael Clayton, Changing Lanes, Blue Bloods, several episodes of Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Spin City and One Life to Live.  Julia she has directed with the Gulfshore Playhouse, Portland Stage Company, The Rattlestick, Epic Theatre Company, Juilliard, NYU, SMU and elsewhere.  And she works regularly as a voice artist, having narrated over 150 audio books.  She is currently a company member of Playmakers Repertory Company in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where she resides and teaches acting for the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of North Carolina.
