Justin Martin

JUSTIN MARTIN has studied and worked as a director in Australasia, Russia, USA, Ireland and the UK. As a Director, his theatre credits include Last Chance: A staged plea for the unaccompanied children of Calais (Young Vic and Good Chance), Good Chance/No Chance (Festival Of Love, Southbank Centre), Low Level Panic (Old Fitz Theatre, Sydney / The Galway Theatre Festival / Irish National Tour), The Kitchen (Helen MacPherson Theatre, Australia), Harvey and Frieda (Arcola), Far Away, Skin Tight (fortyfivedownstairs), 52 (Leicester Square Theatre), Scenes of a Massacre (Camden People’s Theatre),  Billie (Sydney Opera House/La Mama), The Dumb Waiter (Melbourne Fringe) and Exharcissus (Natya Mandala, Bali). As an Associate Director, his theatre credits include The Audience (Broadway/West End/NT Live), Skylight (Broadway/West End/NT Live), Billy Elliot – The Musical (Broadway/North American tours/South Korea/Australia) and The Give and Take (Sydney Theatre Company/Melbourne Theatre Company). He is the Second Unit Director on seasons one and two of The Netflix Original Series The Crown and is currently developing plays for The Bush, The NT Studio, Hartford Stage (USA) and BMEC (Australia). His awards include the Roger Leach Award for Theatre.
