LIV ROOTH is absolutely delighted to make her Alley Theatre debut. Broadway: Venus in Fur, Born Yesterday, and Is He Dead? Training: Liv received her MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program, where she was the recipient of the Marcia Gay Harden Scholarship. She earned her BA from Dartmouth College. Liv is extremely proud to have appeared in world premieres of new work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in regional theaters across the country. She has originated roles in works by many renowned American playwrights, including Tony Award nominee David Ives, Tony Award winner JT Rogers, Molly Smith Metzler, Melissa Ross, David Grimm, Tony Award winner Beth Henley, Elizabeth Egloff, Annie Weisman, and Rebecca Gilman. Liv is a New Orleans native who makes her home in Brooklyn, NY. She is also an active participant in the Fair Wage Onstage movement. fairwageonstage.org.
