Melissa Pritchett is a Resident Acting Company Member recently appearing in the Alley Theatre’s Sense and Sensibility (Marianne Dashwood), High School Play: A Nostalgia Fest (Ms. Blow, Mrs. Simms), A Christmas Carol (Charitable Woman, Mother in Law, Mrs. Fezziwig), and The Stronger (Mrs. X). Recent Alley work onstage includes Sweat, The Winter’s Tale; The Three Musketeers; Crimes of the Heart; Twelfth Night; The Mousetrap; and Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Other favorite Alley roles include Born Yesterday (Billie Dawn); The Christians (Jenny); One Man, Two Guvnors (Paulene); As You Like It (Phebe); A Christmas Carol (Christmas Past); Good People (Jean); Amadeus (Constanze Weber); Boeing- Boeing (Gretchen); and Hitchcock Blonde (Blonde). She has done movement direction for several Alley productions, most recently for The Three Musketeers, Twelfth Night, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and Camp David. She also choreographed several shows for Bayou City Concert Musicals including Promises, Promises; Bells are Ringing; and The Pajama Game. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University.
