MARK CAPRI Alley Theatre debut. Attended St. Mark’s School in Dallas, Stanford University: B.A., M.A., Ph.D. Candidate, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In UK, with the RSC, West End, and theatres around Britain, India and Southeast Asia, with National and International Tours, and with the Edinburgh and Malvern Festivals, in Shakespeare, Marlowe, Shaw, and others. In New York with On Approval at The Roundabout (Theatre World Award), and covering on Broadway in Private Lives and Blithe Spirit. Leading roles in LORT companies, including Yale Rep, Huntington Theatre, Westport Playhouse, Hartford Stage, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Walnut Street Theatre, McCarter Theatre, Santa Fe Festival, Denver Center Theatre, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and others. In Los Angeles with Terra Nova and Arcadia at The Mark Taper Forum, A Perfect Wedding at The Kirk Douglas, School for Scandal, An Ideal Husband and Amadeus at South Coast Rep, Equus, Light Up The Sky, Sherlock Holmes, Noises Off, Casa Valentina, and King Charles III at The Pasadena Playhouse, Empire Burlesque at The Broad Stage, and Sleuth at The Falcon Theatre. Cyrano de Bergerac at The Pioneer Theatre; An Ideal Husband at The Berkeley and Seattle Reps; Henry V at The Old Globe; Candida and Sherlock Holmes at The Arizona Theatre Company, As You Like It at Shakespeare Theatre, DC, Present Laughter at Two River Theatre, Oedipus Rex and Iphigenie En Tauride at The Metropolitan Opera, and The Merry Widow at LA Opera, among others. Musicals include Kiss Me Kate at Reprise, My Fair Lady at La Mirada, Titanic, 1776, Camelot, Triumph of Love, Annie, and The Bourgeois Gentleman, all in Southern California.
