TERESA ZIMMERMANN is ecstatic to be back at the Alley Theatre since her turn as the female swing in last year’s production of A Christmas Carol. She has most recently appeared in A.D. Player's production of Godspell "Day by Day" and in Houston Grand Opera’s traveling production of Das Barbecü (Brünhilde). Last year, she was nominated for a Houston Press Theatre Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Honey in 4th Wall Theatre Company's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Upon the completion of her degree in musical theatre at Sam Houston State University, Teresa took a year and a half to perform on board Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas. After her stint at sea, Teresa travelled to Costa Rica to complete her Yoga Teacher Training, where she received her 200 hour training certificate. When she isn’t on stage, Teresa finds other ways to perform, both as a singer and a voice teacher. Other credits include: Veronica's Room (Girl) and Panto Mother Goose (Jill) at Stages Repertory Theatre, and Really Really (Leigh) at Black Lab Theatre Company.
