OSKAR Touring September 19 to November 11, 2022

When Oskar starts attending school in person again after experiencing remote learning for an extended period of time, he’s excited about joining his classmates for his favorite activity: Sportsball! Soon, Oskar’s Sportsball team will compete for the state championship. But much to his dismay, Oskar’s big comeback is not so simple because his skills have deteriorated during the time he was stuck at home. Now he’ll have to find a way to restore the talent and confidence he forgot—but the solution to all his woes comes from the unlikeliest of places….

In this timely new installment of the groundbreaking Oskar series, Oskar deals with learning loss and the effects of being away from the classroom for so long. After trying to tackle his problems on his own, he is compelled to find connection and support from his peers, his teachers, his parents, and his community. He, along with all the students watching the show, will walk away having learned valuable social emotional lessons about how to cope in this age of anxiety and how important it is to stay connected to a support system.
