Overview

Hopeful, heartbreaking, and at times “blisteringly funny” (The New York Times), The Humans takes place on Thanksgiving as three generations of the Blake family gather at the youngest daughter and her boyfriend’s new apartment in Lower Manhattan’s Chinatown. As darkness falls outside and around the pre-war duplex, tensions rise and secrets are divulged. The hopes and fears of each generation – and the American middle class – are revealed in this Tony® Award -winning Best Play that The New York Times hailed as “the best play of the year.”
