- Founded in 1947, Alley Theatre is one of the oldest regional theatres in the United States and is home to the only full-time, year-round, salaried Resident Acting Company in the country.
- More than 175,000 people attend Alley performances each season.
- Our two-stage facility includes the 774-seat Hubbard Theatre and the 296-seat Neuhaus Theatre, allowing for both large-scale and intimate productions.
- Through education and community programs, the Alley reaches over 20,000 students and teachers annually.
- The Alley has produced world premieres by some of America’s most celebrated playwrights, including Horton Foote, Theresa Rebeck, and Rajiv Joseph.
- The Alley is a proud Tony Award® recipient for Outstanding Regional Theatre, a national honor recognizing artistic excellence.
- The theatre underwent a $46.5 million renovation completed in 2015, making it one of the most technically advanced theatre facilities in the country.
