Sonder Stories
Sonder, n. The realization that every person has a life as vivid and complex as our own.
In a timeless train terminal, free from cell phones and other devices, lives intersect in unexpected ways. As the trains move forward, the play explores how our lives are richer and more interconnected than we realize. “Sonder Stories” was devised by students in the 2024 Conservatory Ensemble over a five-week process, guided by Teaching Artists. It shows how our stories can intertwine in surprising ways – especially when we feel most alone.

Alley Conservatory is a 5-week program for high school students (rising freshmen through recently graduated seniors). Students will study with some of the best actors, directors, and playwrights Alley Theatre has to offer. Together with other talented young artists, students will take classes and create a theatre piece that culminates in a public performance.
Pricing
Tuition for Alley Conservatory is $1,750. Limited scholarships are available, and applications are accepted during the audition video submission process.
