12:45 PM – 4:15 PM: Backstage Tours
- Get a tour of the Alley’s Scene shop, Costume shop, Wig room, Prop Shop, Dressing rooms, Rehearsal Hall, and more!
- Backstage tours last approximately 45 minutes and start every 15 minutes. Sign up on-site that day!
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Lobby Display
- Get an up-close look at the Alley’s sets, and check out props, costumes, and scenic designs
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Costume Trunk
- Find your favorite costumes and accessories, and snap a photo!

- Listen to popular mariachi songs by local Houston mariachi band, Amor a Mexico

- Students from the UH MFA program will show how we make our fight scenes safe but realistic
2:15 PM: Alley Chat: Creating The Glass Menagerie
- Hear from Designers about how we created the world of Tennessee Williams’ iconic memory play
3:00 PM: Alley Chat: Insights on the 2025-2026 Season
- Hear from Alley Theatre’s Artistic Team about how we created the fantastic lineup for our upcoming season
3:45 PM: Slam Poetry
- Witness incredible performances from local poets
On-Stage in the Neuhaus Theatre and in the Mitchell Lobby
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Can you Quizzle?
- Step into the Neuhaus Theatre for a glimpse inside Alley Play Makers camps for K-8th graders with interactive game demos for kids and kids-at-heart.
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Craft Zone!
- Let the kids take a break with a simple take-away craft that is fun for all ages. While passing through, stop by the Education & Community Engagement info table to learn more about the Alley’s programs for schools and youth.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Happy Hour
- Come back at 5:00 PM for Open House Day specials on beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks!
