If you enjoyed the specialty cocktail at The Importance of Being Earnest, here’s how you can make it at home.

Wilde Bloom: Victorian tea service meets modern cocktail craft. Earl Grey–infused Beyond Distilling gin brings bright bergamot and soft tannin. Lifted by fresh lemon, honey syrup, and elderflower liqueur, then finished with a whisper of bubbles. Elegant, aromatic, and delightfully well-mannered. Proper enough for tea, playful enough for mischief.

Earl Grey–Infused Gin (prep)

  • 1 cup gin (Beyond Distilling)
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
Steep 30–45 minutes, tasting periodically. Strain when lightly aromatic (avoid bitterness).

Cocktail Ingredients
  • 1.25 oz Earl Grey–infused gin (Beyond Distilling)
  • 0.5 oz St. Germaine elderflower liqueur (optional but lovely for florals)
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey + warm water)
  • 1–2 oz chilled sparkling soda

Instructions

  1. Add infused gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and honey syrup to shaker.
  2. Shake with ice until chilled.
  3. Double strain into a rocks glass (over ice).
  4. Top with a small splash of soda.
  5. Garnish with edible orchid flower
