Alley Play Makers camps are back in full swing at Alley Theatre!
We are thrilled to offer an experience that is sure to bring creative joy, in-person cheers, and fast friends to your kids. Each camp session explores big ideas and questions connected to award-winning children’s books through three class rotations: acting/storytelling, movement, and makerspace. Alley Play Makers culminates in a joyous, celebratory performance that demonstrates our campers’ learning for parents and friends.
Camp Preview Nights:
Thinking about Spring Break or Summer camp but have questions? Already registered and want to meet the team? Join us for a CAMP PREVIEW NIGHT! Come & Go between 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on May 11, 2023 for a chance to meet the team, explore the space, see demos of camp games and exercises, and ask questions. Spring Break: March 13-17, 2023
• Session A: 1-week June 5-9, 2023
• Session B: 1-week June 12-16, 2023
• Session C: 2-week June 20-30, 2023 (SOLD OUT)
• Session D: 2-week July 10-21, 2023
• Session E: 1-week July 24-28, 2023
• Session F: 1-week July 31 – August 4, 2023
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extended care available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please keep in mind there is no extended care on the last day of camp.
$325 for 1-week camps or $615 for 2-week camps.
Alley Theatre is proud to expand equitable access to our programs by reserving slots in every camp and age group for scholarships. We encourage you to apply if you are in need of financial assistance. DO NOT register online if you are applying for a scholarship.

Play Makers FAQ
To register for camps visit our Registration Page and select the appropriate camp from the list. Feel free to email ElenaVR@alleytheatre.org if you are having trouble registering online.
Play Makers is $325 per student for a one-week Spring Break or Summer session and $615 per student for each two-week Summer session with additional fees for extended care.
Teen Acting: Monologues is $350 for a one-week Spring Break session.

Before care takes place from 8:00am – 9:00am.
After Care takes place from 3-5pm. Your child will be escorted from their final Play Makers class to the After Care room at 3pm. Keep in mind there is NO after care on the last day of the session following the Open Workshop.

If you only need occasional care, Before or After Care can be purchased “a la carte” at $10/shift. To purchase care on an “a la carte” basis, please contact the Camp Administrator the day before your child will need care.

In order to help us compile all of the campers’ information, we ask that you complete your camper forms as soon as possible. Fill out one for EACH camper and make sure to fill out all sections: Camper Information & Emergency Contacts, Medical Information, Participation Agreement, Consent & Release, and Media Release.
Check In will be from 8:30am-9:00am. (Campers registered for before-care may arrive at 7:45am.) A parent or guardian will need to accompany their camper on the first day so that we can ensure that we have all forms of emergency information. After the first day, you can drop off your camper in the normal pick up and drop off locations. Once the campers are signed in, they will then be escorted to the warm-up room where their Play Makers journey will begin! At the end of the first day, please follow the standard pick-up procedure outlined in your Parent Handbook.
