All ticket sales are final.

In certain situations, single ticket buyers may exchange their tickets to another performance in the same production for a nominal fee. All requests for exchanges must be received at least two hours prior to your currently ticketed showtime.

If guests feel ill, or test positive for COVID-19, we ask that they do not come to the Theatre, and contact to reschedule, move funds to on account for future use, or request a refund.

Subscribers may exchange into alternate performances here.

Should COVID be detected in staff, cast, crew, creative teams, or usher corps, Alley Theatre may be forced to close a production early, cancel performances, and re-open when it’s safe to do so. We ask that in order for live theatre to return and thrive, everyone entering the Theatre follow the guidelines below.

third party tickets

Only tickets purchased through Alley Theatre Guest Services or on our official website are considered valid and are guaranteed seating.

The resale of event tickets in Texas is not illegal. Even when a ticket broker is operating within the law, you still pay much more than the original ticket price.  Although the website appears to be official and may include Alley Theatre’s logo, they are often a third party ticketing site and are not authorized to sell tickets on behalf of Alley Theatre.

If you should choose to purchase tickets from a third party, please be aware of the following:

  • We are not responsible or liable for tickets purchased through a third party ticket website or box office.
  • We cannot replace your tickets if they are lost or stolen.
  • We are unable to assist you if there is anything wrong with your order.
  • You will be responsible for contacting the third party seller if there is a problem with you tickets.
  • We do not guarantee that your ticket(s) are valid and cannot guarantee admittance.
  • We cannot contact you if there is any important information regarding your performance.
  • If your tickets are invalid and you still wish to attend the play, you will have to purchase additional tickets.
  • We cannot issue you a refund or an exchange under any circumstance and that includes if a performance is canceled.

For over the phone ticket purchases and more information about our current or upcoming season, please contact Guest Services at 713.220.5700 and press 1, noon to 6 p.m., seven days a week.

In the unlikely event that a show is canceled, best efforts will be given to notify guests at the earliest possible time; show cancellations are typically communicated via e-mail, phone, website, and social media.

In the event of a cancellation, guests are given the opportunity to move their tickets into another date of the production at no additional cost based on available seating.

If a guest is not able to attend any of the remaining performances, they may do one of the following:

  • Select another production of the current Alley Theatre season to attend
  • Donate the value back to Alley Theatre for as a tax-deductible donation
  • Request the value to be held on account for future use in the same season
  • Request a refund

All refund requests must be submitted within 5 days of the production’s final performance.

As a courtesy to the audience and the actors, and for your safety, latecomers to the Hubbard Theatre will not be seated in their ticketed seats once the play has begun. Late seating in less disruptive sections of the house will be at the discretion of the House Manager. A video monitor and seating are provided in the Skyline bar. Guests may take their ticketed seats following intermission.

Guests who need to leave their seats during the performance will be readmitted to the back of the house and not to their ticketed seats.

Please note that we cannot accommodate late seating or re-seating in the Neuhaus Theatre due to the space’s intimate nature.

No unaccompanied minors ages 12 or under are allowed.  Because of the mature nature of most of our productions, we generally recommend our shows for children 13 years or older.

Every child admitted must have a ticket and no child under six will be admitted. If you have questions about particular productions and content, please call Guest Services at 713.220.5700.
